Dr. Hawa Alice Kun is a visionary healthcare leader, educator, entrepreneur, and humanitarian dedicated to advancing health, education, and community empowerment both in the United States and internationally. As the Founder and President of Hands of Hope Foundation, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and global outreach experience to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
Dr. Kun holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, equipping her with a strong foundation in both patient care and healthcare systems leadership. With years of experience in clinical practice, she has remained deeply committed to improving access to quality healthcare, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kun is the CEO of Wholesome Care LLC, a healthcare practice focused on chronic care management, preventive care, and patient-centered services. She is also the Founder of Unique Health School in Manassas, Virginia, where she is passionately training the next generation of nurses and healthcare professionals. Her leadership has helped countless students successfully transition into the healthcare workforce, many achieving first-time success on licensure examinations.
Dr. Kun’s impact extends beyond the United States. She is the Founder of Rose International Academy in Liberia, a growing educational institution committed to academic excellence and youth development.
